‘Breath’ concludes at Safiuddin Shilpalay

Ten contemporary artists displayed their artworks in a group art exhibition titled Breath held at Safiuddin Shilpalay in the capital recently.

Artists, namely Morsalina Begum Lovely, Sultana Putul, Abdul Aziz Mabud, N S Chowdhury Dancy, Zakia Ferdous, Provaker Mazumder, Tania Bari Kanta, Akhinur Rahman Jharna, Fatema Begum Rina and Md Mazaharul Islam Patwary Kochi displayed their works in the exhibition, which featured acrylic, oil, watercolour and mixed media artworks.

The artists depicted nature through different shades created with bright colours.

An acrylic painting titled Flowering by artist Sultana Putul comprises pink flowers with green leaves.

The acrylic painting titled Rhythmic-3 by artist Tania Bari Kanta portrays sunset over river. 

Provaker Mazumder’s watercolour painting titled Village Scenery depicts rustic life.

The watercolour painting titled Beauty of Nature by artist Fatema Begum Rina depicts lotus flowers.

The exhibition was inaugurated by artist Abdul Mannan while artist Aminul Islam was present as special guest and artist Farida Zaman presided over the ceremony held on January 24.
